Thank you for your support and participation in the 9th Bikeathon held Sunday June 4th, 2017. We especially enjoyed seeing Michael’s classmates who have returned from college!
BIKEATHONS!!!!!!!
Beginning in 2008, the Foundation sponsored the first of a series of bikeathons each year either in the spring or late summer. These bikeathons have taken place on the Bronx River Parkway which is closed for traffic as part of its “Bicycle Sundays” program. We hope to continue this event which has included nearly 100 participants each year who have received t-shirts, zip bags, refreshments and complimentary water bottles. So far, the weather has been great as children and their parents have by all accounts have had a fun time biking the 13 mile route.
